Mondo Burger is a 28 seat separate entity with the same location as its big brother Papi's. The room is small yet cozy with a lively energetic and warm atmosphere. The food menu changes monthly featuring a selection of small plates reflective of cuisine styles from around the globe. The ever changing wine list features selections from all parts of the world and offers a selection of wine flight aimed at satisfying even the most discerning of palates. 30-40 by the glass selections are available and reflect market trends as well as specialty purchases.

» Papi’s Ristorante Italiano – Richmond BC Italian Restaurant

Papi’s Ristorante Italiano encompasses three distinct culinary venues under one roof. It is owned by Ken Iaci (chef) and Claudette Piacenza and is managed by their Mondo Vino partner Steve Ward. There combined 80 years experience in both Canada and abroad is a guarantee for success in the newly rebuilt location.

Papi’s cuisine located in Richmond BC is reflective of regional Italian cuisine and features hand selected fish, meat, poultry and produce offerings from the local farms and markets. The menu changes monthly with additional special features each evening. The weekly changing wine list offers 125-150 selections with a focus on British Columbia and Italy. Papi’s white tablecloth environment is a warm and inviting dining atmosphere with professionally casual, warm and attentive service.

Now that all the Olympic excitement is over we can all get back into our routines. That includes our long awaited cooking classes.

Cooking classes will commence on March 13th and are limited to 8 guests per class, so be sure to reserve your spot quickly as they do go fast. Once again the classes will be held on Saturday afternoons 12:30-2:30. Chef Ken Iaci will demonstrate 5-6 recipes per class.

Each course is matched with wine to enhance the flavours of the dishes.
You will be given the photo copied recipes to take home, but be sure to bring a pen to take extra tasting notes.

To accommodate all your dining needs we will be open 7 days a week from 11:30am-11pm.
At Papi’s we offer three separate dining experiences – regional Italian specializing in fresh seafood and a large selection of pasta dishes. Finish your meal with one of our delicious and in house made desserts. Our wine list is extensive and features many award winning wines from British Columbia and around the world.

At Mondo Burger we offer a more casual dining venue. Try one of our many gourmet burgers served with hand-cut double blanched fries. If you’re thirsty we have local and imported beers and thick creamy old-fashioned shakes for the kids. Watch the games on our flat screen TV and after 7pm drop by for a drink and choose from a wide selection of small inexpensive plates – perfect for a late night snack.

Come in to The Market at Papi’s and choose from one of our many deli cases. Here you will find pre-made dishes made at Papi’s for take-out, the largest import cheese counter in all of Richmond, a wide selection of salami and deli meats made locally and a case devoted to our own specialty desserts. On our shelves, shop for gourmet products from around the world.
